The model number is printed in small type on the back of the device. You can also find it under Settings › General › About. That number identifies the model exactly.
Four of the five models are made of 100 % Merino wool felt with a contrasting leather patch. Felt is soft, light and absorbs knocks. Only the ANGUS is full leather outside with wool felt inside. Leather is firmer, protects the edges better and develops a patina of its own over the years.
In our own workshop in Hamburg. Cutting, sewing and final inspection all happen here, since 2011. The leather is vegetable-tanned cowhide from Tuscany, the Merino wool felt is mulesing-free.
The combination of wool felt and leather protects reliably against scratches and knocks. For additional protection we recommend carrying the iPad inside a bag or a backpack.
You need two pieces of information: the screen size of your iPad and whether you want felt or leather on the outside. After that, the only question left is whether anything travels with the iPad. If you are unsure, write to us with your model.
Yes. All our iPad sleeves are cut for the combination with a Magic Keyboard, because the keyboard adds noticeable thickness. With a cover instead of the keyboard the iPad fits as well – it then sits a little more loosely. The Apple Pencil has its own protected space in every model, whatever keyboard accessory you use.
The CORRIEDALE. It is the only one that is a bag with storage space and holds a MacBook up to 16 inches, documents and cables next to the iPad. The other four are fitted sleeves for one device.
We recommend cleaning the sleeve with a slightly damp cloth. Please do not use aggressive cleaning agents, so that the natural materials are not damaged.

All five iPad sleeves are cut to fit your model. The difference lies in the material, the design and the storage space. Not better or worse, but suited to the way you use your iPad.

The SUFFOLK is a vertical sleeve, the iPad slides in upright. That is why the smaller number comes first there. In all other models the device lies crosswise.
Not sure? Measure your iPad together with its keyboard or cover and compare with the row. If it fits on paper, it fits in reality. We cut close, but not too close.
Every iPad leather sleeve passes through our hands
Since 2011 every iPad sleeve has been made by hand in our workshop. We have a separate pattern for each device size. That is why it fits, and why there are five models instead of one universal format.
No imitation leather that cracks after a year. No plastic. Vegetable-tanned leather develops a patina of its own over the years, and the soft Merino wool felt lies against the device without scratching it. It absorbs knocks instead of passing them on.
