Yes. Both measure around 28.1 × 21.5 cm and differ only in thickness. Our 13-inch sleeves are cut for both.
Yes, the sleeves are cut for it. The keyboard adds noticeable thickness, so we always measure with it. Without the Magic Keyboard the iPad fits too, it then sits a little loosely.
In the CORRIEDALE M, yes. It is the only bag with storage space and holds a MacBook up to 14 inches next to the iPad. SUFFOLK, HAMPSHIRE and ANGUS are fitted sleeves for one device.
All four fit. The real question is what else you carry: the SUFFOLK is the slimmest. HAMPSHIRE and ANGUS have a front pocket. The CORRIEDALE M also holds a MacBook, documents and cables.
It fits as well. The footprint has stayed almost the same across the generations. Apple only changed the name from 12.9 to 13 inches.
It would go in, but there would be several centimetres of play and the device would move while you carry it. For the 11-inch models there is a sleeve of its own.
In our own workshop in Hamburg. Cutting, sewing and final inspection all happen here, since 2011. The leather is vegetable-tanned cowhide from Tuscany, the Merino wool felt is mulesing-free.

The iPad Air 13-inch is the large working device among the iPads: a lot of screen, little weight. Our iPad Air 13 sleeves and bags have been made in Hamburg since 2011, from vegetable-tanned cowhide leather and mulesing-free Merino wool felt. The iPad Pro 13-inch has the same footprint, so every sleeve fits both devices.

The SUFFOLK is a vertical sleeve – the iPad slides in upright. That is why the smaller number comes first there. In the other models the device lies crosswise.
The four models in leather and wool felt for your iPad Air 13
- SUFFOLK – Merino wool felt with a leather patch, without a front pocket. The slimmest option.
- HAMPSHIRE – wool felt with a contrasting leather patch, flat magnets and a front pocket.
- ANGUS – full leather outside, wool felt inside. Two zips, one of them for the front pocket.
- CORRIEDALE M – the bag for when a MacBook, documents and cables travel next to the iPad.
The leather: vegetable-tanned cowhide, just under 2 mm thick
For the ANGUS and for the leather patches of SUFFOLK, HAMPSHIRE and CORRIEDALE we use full-grain leather from family-run tanneries in Tuscany, vegetable-tanned. The hide reaches us just under 2 mm thick and we bring it down to the thickness each part needs.
Full-grain means the surface is not sanded for an even look. Pores, fine veins and small scars stay visible, and the colour deepens over the years. An iPad Air 13 leather sleeve that goes into a backpack every day looks different after two years than on day one: darker, softer, with a patina. If you want a material that always looks the same, a coated leather suits you better. We deliberately do the opposite.
Inside there are 3 mm of Merino wool felt. This matters with a 13-inch device: the larger the surface, the more force reaches the corners in a knock. Your iPad is best protected in the ANGUS, the only model with full leather outside and wool felt inside.
Compatibility: iPad Air 13, Pro 13 and Pro 12.9
Our sleeves fit the iPad Air 13-inch (M2 and M3), the iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) and the older iPad Pro 12.9-inch. The footprint has stayed almost the same across the generations, so one sleeve fits all three.
The Apple Pencil has its own protected space in every model, whatever keyboard accessory you use.

From the raw hide to the last seam
Splitting, skiving, punching, sewing, embossing, fittings and final inspection all happen in our own workshop in Hamburg, since 2011.
A slip-in sleeve has to sit tightly without jamming. That tolerance cannot be bought in, it is created at the cutting stage. This is why we cut a separate pattern for each device size instead of one universal cut.
