Pack & Smooch celebrates ten years

When merino wool felt and vegetable-tanned leather are turned into everyday companions by hand in the middle of Hamburg, Pack & Smooch is usually behind it. For a decade the workshop has been making one-off pieces from natural materials. The plainly designed MacBook sleeves, iPad sleeves and iPhone cases fit precisely, because they are cut to measure.

„Our anniversary has to be celebrated, even if a party is not possible in a Covid year", said Matthias Burkert, managing director of Pack & Smooch, at the time. „Most of all we want to thank our loyal customers."

Brotherly, with felt and hands

Since its founding in 2011 the company has grown organically. Today a merino wool felt blend developed for us is used, considerably softer and more stable than standard felt, made exclusively from mulesing-free wool. Combined with vegetable-tanned leather it produces classics like the HAMPSHIRE. For iPhones there are KIRKBY, SHETLAND and KINGSTON, plus the TAURUS wireless charger.

The design follows a clear line: light grey with light brown, or anthracite with dark brown.
