Handmade in Hamburg: Stylish protection for MacBook Pro 16
The Hampshire handmade merino wool felt cover is now also available tailor-made for Apple's new flagship MacBook Pro 16
Hamburg, December 2019 - Pack & Smooch manufactures the Hampshire MacBook case in its own workshop using a wool felt mixture developed especially for the manufacture and purely vegetable-tanned natural leather. There is nothing off the peg here: new measurements are taken for each MacBook model. This ensures that the puristically designed sleeve fits perfectly. This is the only way to provide solid protection for your valuable computer and to make it easy to remove and store. Hampshire is now available for the new MacBook Pro 16. Owners of older models or iPad fans can also make themselves and their digital darling a Christmas joy: Hampshire is available for different formats.
Timeless everyday companions
Pack & Smooch has decided to have a special wool felt mixture developed. "Sustainability and durability are important to us. This also requires a very high quality of the materials," explains Managing Director Matthias Burkert. "We were not able to find what we were looking for in the standard goods. The merino wool felt made in Germany, which was created especially for us, is woven extra tightly. This makes it pleasantly soft and at the same time very stable". The natural material is also particularly suitable for the protection of digital devices, as it has an insulating effect and contributes to longer battery life on cold days.
Grip edges made of vegetable tanned natural leather provide a noble optical contrast - and additional stability. The best quality leather comes from an Italian family business that is a member of the "Pelle Conciata al Vegetale in Toscana" association.
The slim design of the bag is underlined by the flat magnetic fasteners. Since they are attached to the front pocket, there is no direct contact with the MacBook. The slim front pocket is also a practical extra with room for small accessories, such as the smartphone.
Hampshire is available in two classic colours: light grey merino wool felt with light brown leather or anthracite with dark brown leather.
