It is made from the Croupon, the particularly high-quality core of animal skin. Keyboard and mouse are bedded either on golden cognac or velvety dark chocolate brown, while the underside, made of 100% purest natural rubber Richmond, holds securely on the desk base of the facts - slipping is impossible. Incidentally, the greatest thing about larger pieces of leather like these are the little secrets they sometimes contain: subtle differences in colour, gradients or small irritations in the surface respectfully remind us that this is a natural product.

In terms of care and cleaning, there is not much to be considered in case of soiling. Our Richmond desk pad can be cleaned carefully with water and a neutral soap solution for light soiling and then dried with a soft cloth. If there are minor scratches in the leather, a damp cloth is usually sufficient to remove them completely. Take a slightly damp cloth and polish in light circular movements and the scratches are gone. If larger scratches or the like become visible, then these can also be removed. Simply polish away with a slightly waxed cloth (leather polish).

Great
Quality and finish is great. I moved from a vegan leather desk pad, which was essentially plastic, into this. The difference is night and day. - I appreciate the thickness. - The fact that it doesn't move around. - Feels comfortable to rest your hands on. - Mouse travels freely without any snags (my plastic old plastic one couldn't do that). - The slightly beveled edges are nice (not talking about the rounded corners). - The smell is pleasant, and the logo stamp is not too imposing.
After owning it for couple of weeks I noticed that my white key caps started turning Chocolate Brown. So this desk mat lightly sheds some color, which is normal with dyed leather. Not much you can do about it. But felt it would be worth mentioning in case that would be a dealbreaker for someone.

Eine wunderschöne, edle und moderne Schreibtischunterlage
Ich habe die Schreibtischunterlage mittlerweile über 1 Jahr im Home Office im Einsatz und bin mehr als zufrieden. Der Versand war wie bei vorherigen Bestellungen innerhalb 1-2 Tage da und somit super fix.
Die Verarbeitung der Unterlage ist mehr als hochwertig. Die Ränder fühlen sich allesamt super fein an. Die Oberfläche hat eine besonders angenehme Haptik, sodass auch nach stundenlangem Arbeiten Arme & Hände sich immer noch geschmeichelt fühlen. Meine Magic Mouse von Apple bewegt sich ebenfalls geschmeidig auf der Unterlage. Man spürt einfach, mit wie viel Liebe zum Detail hier gearbeitet wird.
Leider habe ich einmal nicht aufgepasst und die Unterlage etwas in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Auf Nachfrage beim Kundenservice bzgl. Pflege bekam ich innerhalb weniger Stunden eine mehr als kundenfreundiche Antwort & Lösung vorgeschlagen.
Alles in allem also top Produkt, top Kundenservice - vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen!
